QPWC Winter Titles – 26th & 27th July 2014 @ Atkinsons Dam Qld

Last Sunday the newly formed committee of the Queensland Personal Watercraft Association (QPWC) ran it’s first race meeting since coming together in July.

It’s fair to say form everyones feedback it was a terrific event and a great sign

Saturday July the 5th we set out from Jacobs Well to go around North Stradbroke Island.

The marine life was just awesome. We saw Whales Dugongs and Dolphins everywhere.

What an amazing adventure ride. 23 Skis set off early in the morning to circumnavigate Moreton Island.

The adventure included magnificent scenery and beaches, Whales, Dolphins, lighthouses and a play off between the Yamasakidoos v’s the Kwakahahadoos after lunch at Tangalooma.

Wow! Easter 2014 is certainly one to remember!!!

What a magnificent way to see the New Year in!

For the second year in a row we were treated to a beautiful night out on the water with a superb Fireworks show from the front row.

The Skifari events was held over the Melbourne Cup weekend 2013.

The event, which has run for many years, was held from a Gold Coast base with day trips to various locations.

This included the Gold Coast Broadwater, Moreton Bay, Tweed River, Brisbane River by night, NSW and Pumecestone Passage.
